I enw'r Iesu mawr

1,2,3,4;  1,4,2.
(Yr Oen ar Galfari)
  I Enw'r Iesu mawr
    Boed moliant hyd y nen!
Rhoed pawb trwy nef a llawr
    Y goron ar ei ben!
Gwnaeth Iawn i'w Dad,
      a hedd i ni,
Trwy waed ei groes ar Galfari. [An]

  Diderfyn gariad maith,
    Tragwyddol gariad yw!
  Mor ingol oedd ei daith
    I achub dynolryw!
O! wele'r Oen ar Galfari -
Yr Iesu'n marw drosom ni! [TJ]

  Pa dafod, neu pa ddawn,
    A fedd angylaidd lu,
  All draethu byth yn llawn
    Am ras ein Ceidwad cu?
Ei waed a roes o'i gariad gwiw,
I olchi'r euog dua 'i liw. [An]

  Mae cariad yn ei wedd
    At wael golledig fyd -
  Cyfiawnder llym, a hedd,
    Yn ymgusanu 'nghyd -
Trugaredd a gwirionedd pur
A ymddysgleiriant yn ei gur! [BF]

  Daeth Llywydd nef a llawr
  Mae cariad yn ei wedd
  Pa dafod neu pa ddawn?

(The Lamb on Calvary)
To the name of the great Jesus
Be praise up to the sky!
Let all throughout heaven and earth
Put a crwn on his head!
He made Satisfaction for his Father,
      and peace for us,
Through the blood of his cross on Calvary.

  Vast, endless love,
    Eternal love it is!
  So agonizing was his journey
    To save humankind!
O see the Lamb on Calvary -
Jesus dying for us!

  What tongue, or what gift,
    That an angelic host possesses,
  Can ever expound fully
About the grace of our dear Saviour?
His blood he gave of his worthy love,
To wash the guilty one of blackest colour.

There is love in his countenance
Toward the base, lost world -
  Keen righteousness, and peace,
    Kissing each other -
'Tis mercy and pure truth
That shine in his wound!
